Enrico Zanovello - Curriculum Vitae

Enrico Zanovello, born 1963 in Vicenza, following graduation in organ and organ composition, under the guidance of Stefano Innocenti, and in harpsichord, under the guidance of Andrea Marcon, attended various specialization courses with prestigious maestros such as L.F. Tagliavini, M. Radulescu and G. Leonhardt.

Concurrently he carried out studies at the University of Arts and Philosophy of Padova specializing in History of Music and devoting himself to research in music of the XVII and XVIII centuries.
Extremely active as a performer, both in Italy and abroad, he performs as a soloist and in various instrumental groups.

Teacher of Organ at the Conservatoire of Music of Vicenza and Organ and Harpiscord at the Scuola Diocesana di Musica of Brescia, he has also been the conductor and the harpiscord soloist of the string group " Archicembalo Ensemble" since 1990.

Furthermore he is frequently invited to inaugurate newly restored historical and modern instruments. Presently he is also the director of the string group The Archicembalo Ensemble and its harpsichord soloist.

As such he has recorded various CDs, among which the first ever recordings of Giuseppe Sammartini's concerts for organ and orchestra and, together with the violinist Enrico Casazza, the sonate for harpsichord-organ, and violin of G. B. Grazioli.

As organ or harpsichord soloist as well as part of larger musical groups, he has given frequent concerts both in Italy and abroad, including Austria, France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Egypt, South America, United States.
He has edited a pubblication of Italian music from XVII century; and has recorded for the Ricordi, Discantica and Rivo Alto labels.
